What is the main aim of the F.O.R. M.E. charity ?
- F.O.R. M.E. was established in February1996, as a charitable
trust set up by patients and supporters of Dr Raymond Perrin, 'to
promote research into ME/CFS and to publish the results to the osteopathic
and medical professions and the general public.

Who is Dr Raymond Perrin
- Dr Raymond Perrin qualified in 1984 at the British School of Osteopathy.
He initially concentrated on sports medicine and was appointed the
official osteopath to the World Student Games in 1991. He has been
involved since 1989 in the treatment of patients with symptoms associated
with CFS/ME and spent the next sixteen years researching into this
debilitating disorder. He gained his doctorate in July 2005 on The
involvement of cerebrospinal fluid and lymphatic drainage in CFS/ME
at the Biological Sciences Department, University of Salford. He has
published scientific papers and written information booklets and treatment
guides for this disease. He now divides his time in running The Perrin Clinic and giving regular lectures to lay groups and health professionals
nationally and internationally.

- Details are available in the film 'The
Perrin Technique - a guide for the patient', a documentary
with an attached advice booklet specially written by Dr Raymond Perrinfor
the patient. This has been funded by the F.O.R. M.E. charity and is
available for £15 (All proceeds from sales go to F.O.R. M.E.
to support further research into ME/CFS)
